Team Sahlen has renewed\ntheir partnership with OMP Racing and Bell Helmets.  The Team\u2019s ties to these brands reaches back\nmany decades. Joe Nonnamaker\u2019s 1st<\/sup> helmet was a Bell Star helmet\nfrom back in the early 1970s.  As his sons\nWill & Wayne started into racing in the early 1990s, they too had a Bell\nHelmet as his 1st<\/sup> helmet.  And\neven to this day both drivers have a Bell Helmets \u2013 the Bell RS7 Carbon to be\nexact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Will Nonnamaker shared\nhis thoughts on the Bell Helmets – \u201cI have always enjoyed the fit of my Bell\nHelmets.  They fit my head perfectly.  And despite the wear and tear as well as many\ntimes soaking them in sweat during our long endurance races, my Bell Helmets\nhave held up very well.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team\u2019s 1st<\/sup>\nOMP suits were their beautiful and bright Blue and Green \u201cPlanet Earth\nMotorsports.  As the team continued\nforward in racing through the decades, the drivers and crew continued to be\noutfitted in OMP suits and gear.  Even at\nthe track now, Team Sahlen\u2019s crew can be seen wearing their all black OMP suits\nover the wall during the many pit stops the team makes during their Endurance\nSports Car events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wayne recalls these early\nOMP suits – \u201cI remember our 1st<\/sup> OMP Suits. The fit and quality of\nthe suits even 3 decades ago was amazing. \nDespite putting 100s of hours behind the wheel in those suits, they\nnever wore out, ripped or tore.  And fit\nto each driver was very exact.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, the drivers received\nbrand new OMP One Art suits.  These suits\nare full sublimation suits, with the team\u2019s famous lighting bolts and the Sahlen\nlogo imprinted on the uniform.  Not only\ndoes this make the suits look strikingly amazing, but the lightness and\nbreathability allowed for the drivers to be able to stay extra cool.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joe Nonnamaker shares his\nthoughts on these new suites \u2013 \u201cIts really amazing how far Racing Suit technology\nhas come along.  And OMP has really hit\nit out of the park with the One Art Suits. \nI can\u2019t believe that suits can be sublimated now.  And to say these are light suits is not an exaggeration.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
