{"id":9736,"date":"2024-09-10T21:07:48","date_gmt":"2024-09-10T21:07:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/?p=9736"},"modified":"2024-09-10T21:07:48","modified_gmt":"2024-09-10T21:07:48","slug":"team-sahlen-leads-the-champcar-midwest-series-with-2-remaining-races","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/index.php\/2024\/09\/10\/team-sahlen-leads-the-champcar-midwest-series-with-2-remaining-races\/","title":{"rendered":"Team Sahlen leads the ChampCar Midwest Series with 2 remaining races"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"http:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Web-article-10-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9709\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Web-article-10-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Web-article-10-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Web-article-10-768x511.jpg 768w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Web-article-10.jpg 1403w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Team Sahlen, presented by honeybeeBase.com, will be entering\nseason finale of the ChampCar Endurance Midwest Series with hopes of securing\nthe Championship.&nbsp; The Midwest Series\nencompasses Nelson Ledges Road Course, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and\nPittsburgh International Race Complex.&nbsp;\nEach weekend is an 8 hour enduro on Saturday and a 7 hour enduro on\nSunday.&nbsp; In total this is 45 hours of\nracing.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">At the 1<sup>st<\/sup> Round of the \u201cTriple Crown\u201d series, Team\nSahlen\u2019s #943 secured double victories at Nelson Ledges.&nbsp; This place \u201cMustard\u201d strongly in the lead in\nthe standings.&nbsp; For #942, fortune was not\nas good.&nbsp; Even though \u201cKetchup\u201d ran in\nthe Top 3 in both races, transmission gremlins took it out of both races.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"http:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/97381450-MAC_2405-1-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9737\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/97381450-MAC_2405-1-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/97381450-MAC_2405-1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/97381450-MAC_2405-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/97381450-MAC_2405-1.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">For 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Round at Mid-Ohio, \u201cKetchup\u201d came roaring\nback, with a strong 2<sup>nd<\/sup> place finish in Saturday\u2019s 7 hour enduro and\nbacked that up with a victory in Sunday\u2019s 8 hour enduro.&nbsp; This super strong finishes bumped the #942 significantly\nup in the standings.&nbsp; The #943 had strong\nrun all weekend with a 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Place on Saturday and 5<sup>th<\/sup>\nplace on Sunday.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Currently the #943 \u201cMustard is leading the series.
