Team Manager Allen Wells shares his thoughts on 2023\u2019s results \u2013 <em>\u201cWeekends like last year at Mid-Ohio just don\u2019t happen everytime.\u00a0 We had amazing good fortune last year in getting the double 1<sup>st<\/sup> &amp; 2<sup>nd<\/sup>.\u00a0 Especially on Sunday, when both of our cars were on pit road already in our last stop when a red flag came out, allowing us to really diminish our 5 minute mandatory time for a fuel stop.\u00a0 The competition is super tough in the ChampCar series, and we will have our work cut out for us to duplicate last year\u2019s achievement.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"702\" src=\"https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Grid-2-v2-1024x702.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Grid-2-v2-1024x702.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Grid-2-v2-300x206.jpg 300w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Grid-2-v2-768x526.jpg 768w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Grid-2-v2-1536x1052.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Grid-2-v2.jpg 1750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The Mid-Ohio event is rounds 3 &amp; 4 of the Midwest Series Championship for the Tire Rack \u2013 ChampCar Endurance Series.\u00a0 Currently, Team Sahlen\u2019s #943 \u201cMustard\u201d leads the series after securing the Overall victories at rounds 1 &amp; 2 held at Nelson Ledges in July.\u00a0 Wayne Nonnamaker shared his thoughts on leading the series \u2013 <em>\u201cWe were very excited when ChampCar announced the series.\u00a0 6 events spanning over 40 hours of racing.
