Additionally, Joseph Sahlen was able to get behind the wheel of a Porsche on race track for the 1<sup>st<\/sup> time.&nbsp; Joseph did an exceptional learning the nuances of the mid-engined Stuttgart racer.&nbsp; And by the end of the day, he was turning some very competitive times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"http:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6956-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5555\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6956-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6956-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6956-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6956-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6956.jpg 1544w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Saturday dawned with continued beautiful blue skies.&nbsp; The random pit stall draw for the starting grid saw Team Sahlen roll out 105<sup>th<\/sup> and 106<sup>th<\/sup> out of 112 Entries.&nbsp; Team Sahlen\u2019s starting drivers of Joe Sahlen and Joe Nonnamaker did a fantastic job of working through the traffic to rise up to the top 5 at the conclusion of their 90 minute stint.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"960\" height=\"584\" src=\"http:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0447.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5537\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0447.jpg 960w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0447-300x183.jpg 300w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0447-768x467.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">As the race rolled along, Team Sahlen continued to stay at the sharp end of the grid, fighting their way into the Top 3 Overall.&nbsp; &nbsp;The crew did an amazing job in the pits, ensuring that \u201cKetchup\u201d and \u201cMustard\u201d minimized the time off track.&nbsp; As the race drew down to the last hour, Team Sahlen found themselves in 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and 4<sup>th<\/sup> place overall.&nbsp; Wayne Nonnamaker drove a mega last stint to sweep into 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place overall, do secure the team\u2019s double podium for the day.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"710\" src=\"http:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0475-1024x710.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5648\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0475-1024x710.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0475-300x208.jpg 300w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0475-768x532.jpg 768w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_0475.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Wayne shared his thoughts \u2013 \u201cWhat a great race all day.&nbsp; &nbsp;The ECS Tuning Porsche Boxster was really hooked up in the turns there at the end of the race.&nbsp; And this really helped me in making the charge up to 3<sup>rd<\/sup> place in the final hour.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"574\" src=\"http:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6976-1024x574.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5566\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6976-1024x574.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6976-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6976-768x431.jpg 768w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_6976.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Saturday was capped off with Team Sahlen celebrating crewman Mike Thomas&#8217; 30th Anniversary of being a part of the team. And with the starting grid flipped from the prior day\u2019s line-up, Team Sahlen rolled out on the track in 4<sup>th<\/sup> and 5<sup>th<\/sup> Overall.&nbsp; This placed the team well into 1<sup>st<\/sup> half of the race, settling into the top 3 on the track.&nbsp;
