&nbsp;Friday\nwas a great Test Day, as the team was able to get both drivers plenty of seat\ntime in the #942 \u201cKetchup\u201d Porsche Boxster.&nbsp;\nAdditionally, the Team shook down their 2025 ChampCar rules spec with\ntheir #943 \u201cMustard\u201d Boxster.&nbsp; Much was\nlearned in that test that the team can utilize as they fine tune the set up for\nnext season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"584\" src=\"http:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Ian-Q-1024x584.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10646\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Ian-Q-1024x584.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Ian-Q-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Ian-Q-768x438.jpg 768w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Ian-Q-1536x875.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Ian-Q.jpg 1651w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Saturday\ndawned with damp conditions.&nbsp; The team\ndrew the random starting position of 95<sup>th<\/sup> out of the 100\nstarters.&nbsp; This meant the team would have\ntheir work cut out to get to the front of this very competitive field.&nbsp; As the race started, the damp conditions transitioned\nto wet and then to soaking.&nbsp; This made\nfor very difficult racing, as the track was flooded in some places, and the\nmist on the back straight made for almost blinding conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"http:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Beers-361-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10626\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Beers-361-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Beers-361-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Beers-361-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Beers-361.jpg 1411w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">The duo\nof Joe Sahlen and Will Nonnamaker pursued on to make headway forward in each\nstint.&nbsp; And soon, halfway into the race,\nthe #942 was into the Top 10 Overall.&nbsp; As\nthe race proceeded forward, the many full course cautions led to some great\nfuel conservation.&nbsp; This led to the team\nto take the bold strategy to skip a fuel stop at the end of the race and go\nwith driver change only.&nbsp; In so doing,\nthe team avoided the 5 minute mandatory stop when taking fuel, and instead the\ncar was only stationary on pit road for 20 seconds for a driver change.&nbsp; This bold strategy saw the team leap all the\nway up to 5<sup>th<\/sup> Overall at the finish of the 8 hour enduro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"574\" src=\"http:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Ian-F-1024x574.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10635\" srcset=\"https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Ian-F-1024x574.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Ian-F-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Ian-F-768x431.jpg 768w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Ian-F-1536x862.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/teamsahlen.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Sebring-24-Ian-F.jpg 1672w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Joe\nSahlen shared his thoughts after the race \u2013 <em>\u201cThose conditions were horrendous\nout there today.&nbsp; This led to the team getting out to an early\nlead.&nbsp; The team continued to maintain the\ntop spot \u2013 conserving fuel to make yellow flag stops.&nbsp; The team was able to continue to gap the\nfield and at the 5 hour mark had a lap and half lead on 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\nplace.&nbsp;
