Joe Sahlen is the owner of Sahlen's a Buffalo, New York company and is a long time sports car racing enthusiast. Joe has shared his love of racing with many Grand American racing fans over the years. Sahlen's is the title sponsor of the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen race and the Sahlen's 200, both of which are held at the Watkins Glen track. Joe has driven in 3 different classes of Grand American competition (GT, GS & ST).  In 2011, Joe was awarded the prestigious ROLEX Bob Snodgrass Award of Excellence, for his contribution to Sports Car Racing.

Joe is married to wife Anita, and has 3 children, Joseph, Alex & Billy.
