Young Guns Profile - Eric Lux

Posted (06/27/2008) - Eric Lux debuted on the Professional racing scene at the 2005 Grand American season opener at the ROLEX 24 Hour weekend. Eric drove a Team Sahlen Porsche in both the KONI Challenge GS Class event and the ROLEX GT class for the twice around the clock event. Eric made further race appearances in 2005 with Team Sahlen at both the Mont Tremblant 6 hours and the Daytona Fourth of July event in the ROLEX series. The capstone to Lux's tenure with Team Sahlen was winning the 2006 KONI Challenge GS class season opener at Daytona International Speedway. For 2006, Eric made two more appearances with Team Sahlen in their ROLEX GT class Porsche; Laguna Seca and Phoenix For 2008, Eric has progressed through the ranks and is competing full time in the ROLEX series with Farnbacher-Loles. Recently, Eric won the Mid-Ohio GT event as well as a 3rd place at the Virginia International Raceway ROLEX event. |
