Team Sahlen Shares Home Track Weekend with GOJO and Hagemeyer

Posted (06/30/2006) - Team Sahlen shared this past weekend at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course with representatives from GOJO and Hagemeyer. GOJO and Hagemeyer personnel were at the track as guests of Team Sahlen throughout the EMCO Gears Classic weekend. GOJO has been a partner with the Team Sahlen Grand-Am Cup effort since 1999. Recently, GOJO worked with their distributor Hagemeyer in a promotion with the company's sales team. Top Hagemeyer sales people were rewarded with trips to the Grand-Am Cup race to watch Team Sahlen take on the Grand-Am Cup Grand Sport and Street Tuner class. Will Nonnamaker commented briefly on the weekend's events. "We have worked with GOJO's Motorsports Division and Steve Pruett for several years and now are working with GOJO's Industrial Division to help encourage sales among their distributors. It really is a partnership that we value and we are so fortunate to have a partner like GOJO who has been with us for so many years and it continues to grow," stated Nonnamaker. The GOJO and Hagemeyer group joined Will Nonnamaker on a tour of the paddock area where Paula Nate of Hoosier Tires explained the process of tire preparation, and Daytona Prototype teams prepared their cars for Saturday night's Rolex Race. Will also explain differences in the cars throughout the paddock and Hagemeyer representative Robert Lindley and wife, Anne, took their turn in a pace car for sponsor activities before the Rolex race. Team Sahlen took 6th place in Sunday's Mid Ohio race. The race will air on SPEED Sunday, July 9th at 11:00 AM EST. |
