Team Sahlen Enters Rolex Race at Laguna Seca

Posted (05/05/2006) - Team Sahlen will reenter Grand American Rolex competition at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca this coming Sunday for the US Sports Car Invitational. The No. 41 Team Sahlen Porsche will be entered in the Grand Touring (GT) class. Driving the Team Sahlen car will be Eric Lux and Charles Espenlaub. Lux and Espenlaub started off the season at Daytona in one of Team Sahlen's Grand-Am Cup Grand Sport Porsches. This gave Team Sahlen their first win of the year and Lux his first professional win. Lux, Espenlaub, and Team Sahlen are looking forward to bringing the team back together for the Laguna race. "We are very happy to have both Eric and Charles in a Team Sahlen GT car. We are looking forward to a busy weekend but a good race at the Laguna track," states Will Nonnamaker. Team Sahlen competes in the Grand American Rolex Series with support from Rembrandt Charms, HRPWorld.com, GOJO, Kempthorn AutoMall, TheRaceSite.com, TheRaceMarket.com, Racetech, and Grassroots Motorsports.
