Team Sahlen Car Spends Day at GOJO

Posted (06/22/2005) - North Canton, Ohio - Recently, the Team Sahlen Grand Touring No. 41 car spent the day at GOJO's manufacturing facility in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Phoenix Promotions, Inc., the company behind the Team Sahlen Sports Car racing team, and GOJO formed a partnership in 1999 which has brought more recognition to the GOJO name within the motorsports market. For the first time in the history of the partnership GOJO employees were able to see the red, black, and yellow Porsche that presently competes in the Grand American ROLEX Sports Car Series. It is this car that races along side of current sports car racing stars including Scott Pruett, Randy Pobst, Andy Lally, and Andy Wallace. GOJO, a company based out of nearby Akron, Ohio, has provided outstanding hygiene and skin care products for the healthcare, manufacturing, education, foodservice and automotive markets since 1946. Before being named Team Sahlen, the Phoenix Promotions Porsche effort ran under the Planet Earth Motorsports banner. As an environmentally conscious race effort, the pairing was a natural fit providing race fans with information on GOJO's environmentally safe products.
