Keith Fisher Joins Joe Nonnamaker the Team Sahlen No. 41 GT Porsche

Posted (06/07/2005) - Keith Fisher will, for the first time, join Team Sahlen in their quest for victory at the Sahlen's Six Hour race this weekend. Fisher will co-drive with Joe Nonnamaker. Nonnamaker took third in a ROLEX race last season at the Glen and is gearing up his team for an exciting race weekend. Nonnamaker is also thrilled to be competing with his co-driver, "I am looking forward to it, definitely. From what I know of Keith, he is a great driver and Watkins Glen is a track our team is very confident on. I think it will be a great mix for us," stated Nonnamaker. Fisher does have solid experience in endurance racing, most significant was his time spent behind the wheel of a Camaro during the Daytona 24 Hours in 1999. Being from western New York, Fisher is a very exciting addition to the GT class team. Team Sahlen will take the track during the Sahlen's Six Hour race with two of their Porsche GT3's. Joining Fisher and Nonnamaker during the race in the No. 43 car will be Nonnamaker's sons, Will and Wayne. Team Sahlen will run in the Sahlen's Six Hour race at Watkins Glen with support from HRPWorld.com, TheRaceSite.com, Hawk Performance, TheRaceMarket.com, Kempthorn Auto Mall, UNICHIP, Lamin-X, RaceTech, and Grassroots Motorsports. |
