Team Sahlen Plays Host to Gold Coast Region Porsche Club of America

Posted (03/02/2005) - Miami, Florida - Saturday, March 5th the Gold Coast Region Porsche Club of America will have an opportunity to meet with last season's Grand-Am Cup Grand Sport class champion. Team Sahlen features a fleet of eight Porsches that compete in the Grand-Am Cup and ROLEX Grand American Series. Team Sahlen's 2004 effort captured the Grand Sport class team, driver, and manufacturer's championship for the second year in a row. Prior to this year's Homestead ROLEX Grand American race, drivers and team owners Joe, Wayne, and Will Nonnamaker will be available to answer questions and swap stories about Porsche racing with members of the club. Gold Coast PCA members will be able to watch and cheer on the team's Grand Touring class cars. The Gold Coast Region Porsche Club was founded in 1963 after a group of Porsche owners gathered in Pompano Beach, Florida. The club now holds over 1000 members that cover Monroe, Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie counties. The club holds monthly meetings and autocross events.
