Stanton to drive full time in ROLEX series

Posted (02/23/2004) - TheRaceSite.com Racing's Craig Stanton will getting lots of Porsche seat time in 2004. In addition to his full time campaign to assist TheRaceSite.com in defending our crown, Craig will also be driving in the ROLEX Grand American series with AASCO Motorsports. AASCO Motorsports will be campaigning 2 Porsche GT3 Cup racers in the SGS class. The team is managed by long-time sports car competitor Dennis Aase. Stanton's teammate in the SGS class will be David Murry. "I am thrilled to be a part of this" remarked Stanton, "Dennis was one of my heroes as a kid and I am excited about racing in the ROLEX Grand American with AASCO again. He has really put together the A'list team here. David Murry has been a friend of mine for years and our talents really seem to mesh well together. The entire program is top notch. I think Dennis hs done an awesome job of getting guys that are the best and can work well together. I can't wait to get the season started. This is my best opportunity in ROLEX Grand American. This is a championship caliber team." Craig finished 6th in class at the season opener at the ROLEX 24 of Daytona. TheRaceSite.com Racing wishes Craig the best of luck in his quest for the 2004 SGS crown.
